I am inspired when i see the difference one person can make when you care enough. Governance in my country is a far cry from what it used to be and I am encouraged that individual Nigerians are rising up to the challenge and taking care of each other. I am passionate about issues which deal with youth empowerment. Many young people today lack empowerment and without it societies will not be able to grow to its fullest potential. I became aware of this issue while counseling young people. I loved listening to what they had to say and I also enjoyed giving them my point of view, at the same time letting them know it was just my opinion. Specifically, it is the people in these rural and agricultural communities whose daily struggles and interdependence on natural resources, which have been largely ignored by the bordering urban population, inspires me.
